Ways to Get Traffic to your Squidoo Lens

  • Organic Traffic - This will be the "easiest" of them all. This technique requires you create quality, keyword-rich content on your lens so the search engines send you targeted traffic. Learning how to properly create a lens here on Squidoo is the first step, and the ground work, that is mandatory to a successful lens.

  • Article Marketing - Marketing with articles is a wonderful, and powerful way to promote your lens. These articles leave little breadcrumb-type links back to you lens all over the internet. Don't understand article marketing?

  • Forums - By actively contributing to forums with valuable posts, you can bring exposure to your Squidoo lens by simply placing a link in the signature area. Always check the TOS of each forum - NEVER spam a lens - and be a worthy community member.

  • Blogs - I am definitely learning the value of blogging lately. Promote your lens on your blog, your blog on your lens....it creates a nice little system to help others find your work.   • Your Email - Simply placing a link to your lens in the "auto-signature" for your out-going emails lets others know and can lead them there. (note: Do not SPAM and blindly send your links to those you don't know)

  • Videos - Yes, you could even submit "branded" video to YouTube. These viral little movies have a LOT of power to draw traffic.

  • Squidoo Community - Get out there and socialize! Visit other lenses. Leave valuable feed back. Squidoo is a social site after all, be social!

  • Squidoo Groups - Add your lens to some relevant groups here on Squidoo. What a great way to showcase your lens!
  • Social Book-Marking - These web 2.0 social sites are wonderful for bring virtually instant traffic to your lens.
